It surprised him when she stopped. He skidded to a stop, kicking up a trail of dust behind. Then she did the unthinkable. He felt her kick him and fell backwards into a bush. He probably could have withstanded the kick but it was so unexpected he hadn't the time to react.
Upon impact, his hood fell back off his head and he looked up into the sunlight. His eyes widened in shock and he felt his skin begin to burn. The vampire hissed in pain. "Damn human!"
He quickly reacted like a cat hitting water, leaping from the bush as fast as possible. His skin still burned to which he growled. 'Alright. No more mister nice guy...' He tossed the hood back over his head and ran off after her as fast as he possibly could. She was going to pay for that.
Once again, he was on her tail. Daichi forced himself quicker, until he was only a few feet away. His teeth were bared showing his fangs and his eyes shown pure fury. "Your going to regret that!" Once he found the chance, he lunged, attempting to knock her down.

Unfortunatly, her head start didn't last long and probably quickened her demise. Damn, she was in some serious shirt. When he said that she would pay, she laughed. "You think you guys are the only ones trying to survive?" her words might have ment to make it feel hypocritical, but they were dear words to her.
It wasn't just monsters that strived to live in this world. Hell, she had gone through her fair share of hard times, so she didn't get why she deseved to go through this. Why@did she have to be chased down. Why? Why. Why...
Then she stopped hearing the sounds of the second pair of foot steps. She turned awat to see it lundging tpwards her. She tried to move away, but she moved to late . He caught her and she fell unconfortably ontop of a root.
She stared into the face of the monster. No, she couldn't end like this. No. No! He hand searched for something to grap ahold of. Like a stick, or a rock. Something. She didn't want to die...

He smirked as he successfully knocked her down. Daichi looked down to his victim. Before the incident, he probably would have been happy and playful that he won, but instead, now he was furious. His face still felt as if it were aflame and he was positive it wouldn't end for a while.
He watched her as she tried to reach for something and quickly reached out and grabbed her by the wrist. "Too late. It's over, Tzuki!" He leaned in closer, almost touching her face with his own as he looked into her eyes. "Now you are going to have to die for your mistake. Any last words?" By the look of his eyes, he looked furious, but he held the usual smirk. Finally, after so long, he would be able to feast on human blood.

So this is how she was going to end. After suffering through life, this is how she was going out. Well, she tried, didn't she? Maybe she just wasn't cut out for life. Maybe she was going to have to suffer through life more, never making a true relationship in her life, never really acomplishing anything in life.
Then he asked her if she had any last few words. She opened her mouth, about to say something witty but decided against it. She lossened her her "can't get me" look, looking quiet sad, and sighed.
Here goes nothing...
She looked back up at it and smirked devilishly before ramming her head into his with quiet some force. When her head hit the ground, she had the last few seconds to say a good bye and pass out.
If she were to die, she'd do it in her sleep. She didn't need to use her last few moments scared or uneasy. As least she'd die with that smirk on her face and have lived an okay life so far.
Good bye world...
[[Dun kill tzu, please! U can zuc her blood n wutever, but dun kill her!!!]]

He was looking forward to ending her. It would be one step closer on his journey to end all human life. Then she had to ruin it....
He watched her smirk and growled. What was she up to now? Then she rammed her head into his. It didn't bother him too much but it did some damage to her. He heard her say her goodbye's and watched her pass out. "No," he screamed but it was too late, she had passed out.
Daichi hissed at the unconscious girl. What would be the victory of killing someone like this? Why did she have to ruin it? Sure he could go ahead and kill her. It would be very easy. Too easy. There would be no victory. This was granting her the easy way out. But he didn't want to just leave her like this with no punishment at all.
Well since he had the chance to feed on a human, he might as well. The vampire leaned in on her neck and took a bite, sucking her blood almost dry. Enough to keep her alive for another encounter but also enough to weaken her greatly. He made sure to dig deep and cause enough damage for a scar. A little reminder for her to watch her back from now on.
After he decided it was enough, he lifted up and backed away from the human to look down upon her. He was a little disappointed how this all occurred but he was sure they would run into each other again. And next time, he would make sure to kill her upon sight. "Till we meet again, human." Daichi then turned and walked away, leaving her behind in the garden.

Later, she woke up, her eyes openeing wide as she took in the surroundings. This was the garden! Why wasn't she dead? Why hadn't it killed her?! Isn't that what it wanted? To kill her because she pushed it in the sun. Damn, and she had already made up her mind that she was fine with dying here! Shit.
As she tried to sit up, she found her head to be light. She also discovered a new found pain in her neck. She used her hand to touch the source of the pain. It felt wet and sticky.
Blood.
So he did try to kill her, but why didn't he? It had the chance. But she decided to think on the questions later. She forced herself to stand up and began to make her way for the open area. Unfortunatly, she had to use the trees and whatever else to help her through. It was hard, painful and tiring but she was alive. She was alive...
Once she reached the edge of the garden, she noticed how bright it was. Well, if she missed a couple classes, it wouldn't hurt to take the rest of the day off. Hell, she had to make sure she got some food into her so she could regain some of that lost blood.
Then she noticed her shirt was wet. Damn, it ruined her cosplay. It. Will. Pay.
