Darkness. It certainly was his element. His body greatly appreciated the change. All day he had been walking about in the hot sun running a few 'errands'. A sinister smile played upon his face as he streatched his body, preparing for a full night of training. The vampire had to keep his build you know. It was nothing like fighting. Just working his muscles with the art he loved, parkour, commonly known as free running.
Perhaps it was the only thing the vampire could give credit for, unfortunately. While he hated to admit it, humans did come up with some good stuff every century or so. But that didn't change the facts he hated their very being. He shrugged at the thought.
He tossed off his jacket embracing the cool night air, before dashing into the alleys. He ran through the alleys leaping over and on top of obstacles. He could feel his muscles slowly tightening and felt at peace. That is, till he noticed something ahead.
Daichi skidded to a stop and looked down to the figure. Upon further investigation, he found he had the company of Ches, the cat demon. He looked a little disturbed about something. But who was he to care?
He was tempted to kick him back into reality but decided otherwise. It wasn't wise to push a cat really. They did seem to be more irritable in these situations. And honestly, Daichi really wasn't up for a fight if he could manage to avoid it. He just wanted to enjoy the night.... As soon as he figured out what this cat was up to. "What the hell are you doing out here?" His voice was in it's usual calm manner.

In this farewell There's no blood There's no alibi Cause I've drawn regret From the truth Of a thousand lies Ches blinked and looked up and frowned, standing up and glaring at Daichi. “Oh great, another friggin ‘cult’ member” he said using air quotations. “Why should you care wither I’m out in an alley in the middle of the night. You’re out here two, and currently I cannot give myself enough to care.” He said, voice dripping with sarcasm as he turned to leave.
He was itching to go talk to Lucia since she could only talk in a monotone voice so if she listened no matter what she said, wither it was mocking, it sounded the same. Ches turned back around and smirked at Daichi. “Oh, and by the way, Araka isn’t that scary.” He added, sticking out his tounge before turning back around and letting out a sigh.
In reality he didn’t like talking to other “Monsters” unless he had to, they sometimes scared him, vampires scared him the most. Their sharp teeth and all that jazz. He almost shivered but instead felt his skin darken to black.

He laughed. Though it was probably not wise, it certainly was fun to pester him. "You'd think this place would be easily recognized as cult's haven." he replied with arrogance. "It's a bit obvious but I suppose you are just as ignorant as humans," he shrugged.
Daichi watched as he turned away, but he didn't bother letting the subject just drift off with him. "And besides, I don't give a damn whether or not you are out here. It's just the fact that your crying about something. It's a little pathetic."
The tables seemed to turn though when Ches talked about Araka. He was irritated but managed to keep his appearance cool. "You honestly believe I care whether you think she is frightening to you or not? You really are not too bright." He smirked once again, "I know your sad but a pitiful come back like that just makes you look even more pathetic."
His irritation slowly built up inside of him and he let his fangs grow out in order to let some pressure down. That's when he caught sight of Ches' skin darkening. He'd been watching the demon and learned that this little reaction only happened when he began to transform. It looked like Ches was feeling a bit anxious. He smirked at the thought.

In this farewell There's no blood There's no alibi Cause I've drawn regret From the truth Of a thousand lies Ches turned around, lips curled back from his teeth, showing a row of sharp teeth. His transformation happened faster than usual. “Never. Ever. Place me with those filth! I wasn’t saying that as an Insult. I was telling saying that so you can tell Araka.” He said, his claws curling slightly. Anticipating a fight.
“If it wasn’t for the fucking government we wouldn’t be here. Humans wouldn’t know anything about us. So stop trying to irate me because I will kill you and we need as many “Monsters” as we can get.” He hissed, his tail swishing angrily before turning and jumping up and catching a hole in the wall and us his claws to climb up to the first fire exit of the apartment buildings. Ches looked down at the vampire.
“If any of us are lumped with the humans it would be Vampires.’ He muttered, loud enough for the vampire to hear before calmly climbing the ladders, claws Scratching against the metal.

Perhaps he pushed a bit too far? He didn't think so. Frankly, he found this sudden burst of anger amusing. "What a sudden change of heart. And not too long ago you were ranting about us of the cult and now you are offering advice? While the questure is generous, I don't think we should need any advice from a poor excuse of a demon like you." Honestly, unlike others of his kind, he had nothing against demons or any other monster, excluding werewolves... Ches had merely brought this upon himself. It was never smart for an opponent to show any sort of emotion to him.
Ranting about the government was a subject he would agree on. But really, if this cat could show some respect, Daichi might have not been forced to react in this manner. Oh well. Here was a life lesson for him.
The little threat to kill him didn't faze him at all. He just continued watching with the devious smirk. He didn't know why but setting monsters like him off was really entertaining.
He watched Ches as he began to run off. Then came the worst mistake ever. Daichi's eyes narrowed and he ground his teeth in annoyance, trying to keep cool. Unfortunately, this battle to control himself was lost. "Another mistake you worthless demon," he growled, his voice much harsher than before. With a quick leap, the vampire grabbed the same hole the demon had and climbed up after him, his fangs bared as he gave him a threatening glance. "Perhaps it's time you learn a lesson!" Daichi threw a sharp punch torwards him, fully determined to make him regret ever saying anything.

In this farewell There's no blood There's no alibi Cause I've drawn regret From the truth Of a thousand lies Ches smirked and grabbed the bar above him and lifted himself quickly and dodged the punch. “Fights driven by fury don’t end well.” He said almost looking guilty but snapped out of it and sneered. “Besides, I’ve fought with more dangerous things then you.” He said whacking the vampire in the face before jumping off the bar and tucking into a roll as he hit the ground.
He paused and looked mockingly cheery. “Oh maybe if I kill you, I can ask Lucia to make you a zombie.” He said sticking his tongue and tossing a burst of fire towards the vampire.
He needed this fight; it distracted him from the problem at hand. His adopted father. Ches stood up. “I forgot. Other monsters don’t seem to remember. Cat’s like to tease; maybe that’s why you’re so uptight.” He said smirking up.
“Oh well, you and Araka can go back to making vampire- witch babies. I’m bored.” He said yawning and straightened, not showing that he was actually terrified to fight a vampire. They were actually much more dangerous the Lucia or a Human. Though Lucia could rise the dead if she wanted to, and they aren’t all slow. He shivered at the thought of her raising a zombie during the night and it crawling throughout the school, without her knowing it. Before it started killing people by eating their faces.

He was too blinded by fury to even notice what he'd said. He waited to feel bones crack beneath his knuckles but unfortunately, never happened. He growled with his miss but was immediately hit in the face before he could get another shot. It was a bit painful, but he managed to keep up and ready for another hit.
He could already see how this was going to end if he didn't straighten up and be more strategic. He finally calmed down enough to think before acting.
Daichi caught sight of the fire and managed to dodge it before it had a chance to hit him. He stopped and listened to the cat talk, able to control himself now. He seemed like he wanted to get away. Could it be that he was scared of him? He smiled showing his blood stained fangs off.
"Bored? That was quick. I'm sorry but I'm not done yet." He growled once again before leaping towards Ches, attempting to pin him down. Perhaps a little snack was in order. He never had cat blood before. He wondered how it tasted. He wanted to find out.

In this farewell There's no blood There's no alibi Cause I've drawn regret From the truth Of a thousand lies Ches yawned and let the vampire pin him down. He wasn’t scared of a vampire drinking his blood. Demon’s blood wasn’t that delicious anyways. According to books, it was disgusting. He gave a smile up at Daichi. “I’ll let you drink my blood, just see how much shit you’ll get into for killing the only Cat Demon in this city.” He said raising his eyebrow slightly. He liked to think of himself as a rare species, he had yet to met another Cat demon besides his mother, but she was murder 13 years ago. He’s eyes flashed as he realized something.
Anger and Fear struck him. He was going to let a Vampire kill him to see how much shit he’d get into. Ches bit down onto the vampires shoulder and struggled to get his body away from the vampires grip, while biting the vampire. Clever plan. Not so much. Talking his way out. Already in to deep. Threatening? This vampire was a stone when it came to threats. Unless. A smirk graced his lips, hard to do while biting.
He wanted to tear off the vampires arm and see if the legends that vampires can re grow an arm slowly is true. If it was, he’d give Daichi his arm back after his new one grew in.

He pinned the demon down with ease only because he allowed it. While a little bit confused, he just went with it. The demons arrogance would be shortlived. "Whatever you say." With that he opened his mouth and dug his fangs into his neck. He had no fear. Really, he didn't plan on killing him. That would be too merciful of him. Instead he would weaken him. Suck him nearly dry to where he will live but be helpless.
Daichi began sucking the blood. The taste was certainly not appealing but he was determined to go out with his plan. He'd probably have to puke his gutts out later. Not only did it tase bad, it's smell was sickening. He was sure he would endure though. That is, till he felt Ches bite down on his shoulder.
He began to recoil but quickly realized and managed to keep himself fixed with pure will power. It took him by surprise. Who would have thought the cat would bite back? His eyes narrowed and he dug deeper into his flesh sucking up more and more blood. The pain in his arm though was slowly becoming too much to bear. It looked like he might lose an arm out of this.
He hissed in irritation before taking one, last, large gulp and removing himself from him. There was still the problem that he had ahold of his shoulder. With his free arm, Daichi punched the cat in the face in hopes of getting him to release. "Get the fuck off me! Tearing my arm off won't help us!" He could see the two of them being killed for doing this. And he didn't want to die just yet.
