Camping! (stefan)

[Yuki Ootori]

Yuki had decided to spend her weekend camping. Time to get away from other people and distractions and get some good studying in. Besides, the girl's dorm area was too loud. She could barely get anything done in that kinda of enviroment.

Her tent set up in a deep corner of the park, she gathered up some old, fallen branches and sticks for a fire tonight. With her chibi-like demon floating by her head.

You know I can always be a fire, her little demon said.

"Well, you'd get tired being a fire for an entire night," she said, rolling her eyes. Despite being a demon, he could be just a bit...stupid? Though she wouldn't tell him that. Even though she was his tamer, he did have an nasty temper.

Returning to her came, the put the wood into a circle of stones. Her demon landed on the fire, lighting it. Yuki sat down and stared at the fire, waiting for it to become warm. Once it was warm enough for her tastes, she grabbed a text book and began to study in the silence.

[Shane Sykes]

Like ever weekend, Shane decided to get out of the stuffy boys dorm and stretch his legs. He always found the park a great place to let of some of the stress from school.

Well walking through the giant trees, Shane seen a small flickering in the distance. "Who would be out here." Shane said to himself. As always Shane decided to go and check it out, as there was nothing better to do. Who knows he might even find something interesting to do for the night.

As Shane got closer he could smell wood burning, and the smell of something else. Shane jumped."What the Fuck."Shane said. Shane grabbed his pocket and pulled out his phone. Looking at the caller id, Shane read unknown number. Shane quickly turned of his phone and pocketed it. Thinking that his cover was blown he jumped grabbing the closest branch, and pulling himself up into the thickest part of the tree. "Ifanyone comes by I should see them before they see me." Shane said.

Reading by the light of the fire, Yuki had really gotten into her studies. It didn't even bother her as her demon danced around the fire and going off an out of her site. Heck, he couldn't go far without her permission to do so. But she knew he would enjoy the fire, so it didn't bother her.

Then she heard the sound of a phone. She reached into her tent to check her phone. It wasn't her phone that made the noise. And it did make her conscience of the area now. Even though it was a public park, it felt odd for other people to be here at this time of night.

She got up and began to walk near the area she heard the phone go off. Actually, it was her demon that led her to the noise.

"hello? Is anyone else here?" she called out into the dark.

[Shane Sykes]

Shane sat in the tree, blade cracked from its holder. As foot steps got closer, Shane could just make out the shape of a person and what looked like a dog. Shane sat as still as possible, breathing as quietly as possible.

"Hello, is anyone else here?" the person called. Shane turned his head towards the voice and kept his hand on the blades hilt. Shane sat down on the branch silently. Blade in hand, he waited knowing that there was no way to not be seen as any dog would be able to smell him.

"Lets see who you are." Shane said under his breath.

Yuki looked to her demon, worried. He looked disturbed, as if something was wrong here. And she could feel it too, a shiver ran down her spine and she instantly knew something was wrong. Or at least it felt aqward.

Her demon landed on the ground infront of her and she let it transform out of it's chibi form and into it's full demon form. It stood at eight feet tall, on four legs. But it's size wasn't the only thing that made it look menicing, but also the fact it had five eyes andits paws and tail were on fire.

Yuki...someone is here, I know it...

"Yes, I know..."[b\] she murmmered to her demon. Then she spoke loudly. "Whoever you are, come out now! I'm not afraid to burn down these trees![/] Actually, she was. She didn't want to start any uncontrolable fires. Gosh, that would make her horribly frantic.

[Shane Sykes]

"Whoever you are, come out now! I'm not afraid to burn down these trees! said the voice.

Shane shook his head. "This is to late for this shit." he said to himself. Taking his hand of his sword he dropped out of the tree. Landing with a soft thud he stood facing the direction of the voice. Shane took out his wallet, reaching for the lonely picture within. He looked at his brothers face as a reminder, that everything was gone from him, Knowing this gave him just that much more strength to try and survive everyday to find him.

Shane took out his blade, the metal made a soft noise as it rubbed against the hilt. Taking it he dug it into the ground allowing the moonlight to shine of the blade. Still in his schools uniform he waited for this person.

Yuki listened to her demoon as it told her whoever was here was, well, here. He told her that he heard mumbling and she smiled so someone was here? Wow. Whoever thid person was, they must be pretty lame walking in a park at this time of night. Then again, that would mean she was lame too... No she wasn't. She was camping, whoever this was, they were just roaming.

Her demon shot out a small fireball in the person's direction. As it purposfully passed the person, allowing Yuki to see him.

"Oh my god! You're a student! I'm sorry!" she said, not caring about the fact that he had a sword. Her demon chibifyed itself and began to float around her.

Ugh, why did I have to be stuck with a ditzy tamer? her demon moaned as he flew back to the fire at the camp.

Yuki stuck her tounge at her small demon as it flew away. Then she returned to the male student. "Really sorry about that. But...um...do you mind putting that away, please?" she asked, jesturing towards the male student's sword. Weapons make her feel very unconfrontable. That's why her only weapon was her unnamed creature demon.

[Shane Sykes]

Shane looked at the girl, she didn't look like much of a treat. He picked up his sword placed it back into its hilt and lent it gently against a near by tree. Shane began to walk towards the girl, always keeping an eye on were her demon was. "It's no problem, sorry about all that. " Shane said to the girl as he brushed off some dirt from his uniform. He still didn't know how strong that demon was so he decided it would be safest to keep a distance between him and the girl.

Shane sat down on a near by boulder. "May I ask for your name? And what your doing out here? If it isn't to much." Shane said it a calm voice. The cool nights air running through his hair. And the moon light reflected off his eyes, making them shine a chilling blue. The last thing he wanted tonight was a fight, especially since this is his last in tacked uniform.

"Yup! Its not a problem. I'm Yuki and over there is my demon. I'm a tamer, you see, so he's my little fire demon, but I only met him a while ago, so he doesn't have a name yet. And I'm out here studing. My room is just too cramped and everyone is trying to pick a fight so I decided camping would be fun, but since we aren't really allowed to leave this city, I decided to camp out here," Yuki said, ending her long talk with a big smile.

Again...why with this ditz of a girl? Of all the tamers... her demon moaned. Since only Yuki could hear him, it was easy to talk about anything about anyone. Espically with a girl this stupid.

She turned towards camp and yelled. "Shut up, ok?!" she said. She might be a bit of a ditz, but that didn't mean she was totally stupid. Hey, she was an A student!

"Would you mind if I asked the same questions you asked me? It is a bit...odd?"

Shane looked at her, it was almost as if she couldn't keep your mouth closed. He looked at her, the moon giving his eyes that silvery blue shine. "My name, is Shane. I, as many other students here am a monster. A demon to be correct. And my reason for being out here is just like yours, the dorms are two loud for me tonight and i find the forest, calming, " Shane said with a small smile as he rain his hand through the near by grass. "Theres always been something about the forest that is just calming. You might not have noticed it but maybe your demon has. It almost in our blood, to enjoy wide open areas as almost. A hunting ground." Shane said with a smirk. "Don't want to scare you. But thats just how i am able to word it."

Shane picked himself up, brushing the grass from his school jacket. "Why do you choice to be out here? Not may people would rather be out in the forest, to study".
