He kept his hand out, reaching for the book as she fought to avoid him. She was drunk for christ's sake! He couldn't even imagine what might go wrong if she were to use one. And frankly, he didn't want to be turned into anything today.
He reached for it more as she began to skim through the pages. Then she murmured something before tapping his head. He was shocked and worried of what might happen. But, luckily, nothing did. Perhaps it was a dud? He pondered over it before realizing his head wasn't hurting him anymore.
Daichi sighed in relief, glad nothing went wrong and the fact his headache was no longer an issue. The he heard Araka tease. He looked down to her. "Yeah, mama made my... booboo feel better." He felt so stupid saying that but decided to humor her. She did infact help his headache with the spell.
Speaking of which...
The vampire walked over to her closet, picking up the book. "While I'm thankful, I think we should still keep this away for safety reasons..." 'Like me keeping all my limbs,' he added mentally. He walked over to her desk and picked up the drawer, along with it's contents, and returned to it's rightful place in the desk.

"Aweh...youh nu fuhn aneh moar..." Araka said, pouting. She rolled onto her side, facing away from Daichi. "YOUH ISH AH MEENIE HOD!" she yelled as she began to slither away to under her bed where an older scotch bottle was hidden. She popped the top open and began to drink,
Even though it took her a minute or two to finish this one, she did finish it quite quickly. She tossed the bottle and slithered back out from under the couch.
"Daiiiichiiii..." she moaned, still half way under her bed. "I beht youh twenteh bucks I won't have muuch ohff a hahngova toomoroow," she said with a grin.

He rolled her eyes as she pouted and looked away from him. She was a little crazy when she was drunk... When she yelled at him, he looked back down to her to see her slithering underneath her bed. His eyes widened as he watched her disappear. Perhaps it was a good thing he came up here with her.
Within a few seconds, he heard another bottle pop open and his eyes narrowed. 'That's the last thing she needs,' he thought to himself. He didn't bother stopping her though. How worse could she get? He leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes, waiting for her to either pass out or crawl back out.
An eye popped open when she called and he looked down to her. She made a bet and he smirked. The only way she couldn't possibly have a hangover was if she used a spell. "I'll take that bet, that is.. If you don't use any spells." He doubted she would agree to that and even if she did she would probably use a spell anyway to cure it then lie about it. Oh well, he would just go for it. Not like he used his money for anything important or anything.

TOO OUT OF TOUCHOUT OF TOUCH TO TOUCH YOU Araka laughed loudly. "Stoopid, thar's nuu spelh tu geht rud of hangovas," she said, rolling her eyes as she pulled herself fully out of the bed, feeling even more dizzy than before. Eh, it was worth it when it came to alcohol.
She yawned and crawled onto her bed, kicking off the unopened bottles to the floor where they landed with a thunk. She stretched out on her bed, with a loud "meow".
Then she turned on her side and let her knees fold to her chest, digging her head into the sheets as she let out a loud wail.
"Daaaaaiiiichiiii," she said into the sheets. "I wunt sum food...I'm hungreh," she said, rolling onto her other side, facing away from him. She grabbed her stomach. She was hungry, but the fact she was drunk made it worse. When was the last time she ate? Lunch, probably. Man, her cult took up so much of her time.
"I wunt sum kake..." she said loudly. Cake was good, and even drunk she craved the fluffy goodness.

"I'm not a witch so I wouldn't know," he replied with a shrug. He was only assuming. There seemed to be a lot of spells for many other stuff so why not hangovers?
The sound of a meow caught his attention and when he looked over to her, he saw her stretching out. He face palmed. Yeah, next time he was going to have to avoid her when she was drunk. But then again, that was often. Guess he would have to get used to that.
He put his attention onto her once again as he heard her wail. She claimed to be hungry. He wasn't sure what to do about it. Maybe leaving her alone to get her something and taking her with him wouldn't be all that good of an idea either. She continued, asking for cake. Guess he could go get it for her. He'd just have to be quick about it. "Fine. I'll go get you some cake. Just try not to get in trouble while I'm gone." He put emphasis on the word try. He doubted she would though, but no reason not to give it a shot.
He stood up and pulled out his money, counting it. "What do you want?"

Araka rolled over to see Daichi, a scowl on here face. Then her fqace brightened as she found how fun it was to roll around her bed. She rolled back and forth for a few minutes until she went to far and fell off her bed. Giggiling, she turned towards Daichi.
Then she returned to scowling. "I want you to stand up for yourself more," she said, her voice somehow sounded undrunken. She stood up and walked closer to Daichi. "You need to be more agressive and say what you want to! ...To me, at least," she said.
Then she hiccuped and fell back to the floor, giggling. That kind of thing happened a lot.her system processed things quickly. That's why she could get drunk quickly and fall back out quickly. Which is also why she kept drinking, to keep the drunken feeling. Being drunk let her escape. Being hungover helped her catch up on cursing people.
She looked back up at him and sang, "Strawberry, plase~

He was still counting his money when he heard a thump again. His eyes lowered to the floor once again where she lay. That's when he noticed her scowling. Scolding. They were certainly nothing new. She always seemed to find something wrong with him and no matter how hard he tried to correct himself, she was never content. It was a little annoying.
Now she was scolding him for not standing up for himself. For not being aggressive enough. He was one to stay as calm as he could and go with the flow no matter how unpleseant the task may be. He thought that's what a follower was supposed to do, not stand up against his leader. Guess he was wrong. Besides that, if he was more aggressive, she might not trust him as much.
It was hard enough to finally manage to control himself and now she wanted him to forget about it? He thought about it as she fell back to the ground, giggling. It was a little difficult to think here so when she told him what she wanted he decided to just go ahead and get it. He should be back really quick so she possibly couldn't do anything or go anywhere that quick.
"Fine. Strawberry it is. I'll be back in a minute..." He grabbed ahold of his bottle and made his way to the door. As long as he avoided the sun as much as possible, he should be fine. And just incase it got too hot, he could finish off his blood and that would give him a boost of sorts.

Araka watched as Daichi left her room and sighed comically, looking up at the ceiling. She stood up, woobly and what not andclimbed onto her bed and grabbed her blanket and tossed it off her bed. She looked at the drawer where he stashed her spell book, but she didn't want it anymore.
Damn, her system really proccessed this stuff too fast and in a way she didn't like. She liked being drunk. It gave her a chance to get away from her usual stuff of being a cult leader or wanting to make others feel bad so she could make herself feel better.
She yawned and grabbed her pillow, hugging it as she tried to drift to sleep, which didn't come for a few moments. She wondered if she was too drunk to remember anything the next morning. She probably would but...spells were always good in situations like this.
Slowly, she drifted to sleep, forgeting about the promised cake.

He would have been back sooner but the lady at the counter was the same like last time. She still watched him curiously and took forever to get the cake. When she finally brought him what he wanted, he glared at her darkly and snatched away the cake leaving her dazed. Stupid humans...
The trip would have been much easier if it wasn't for the wait. That and the sun. That just made things much worse. He got burned a bit but managed to make it to the dorms before it could get too bad.
He returned shortly still frustrated about the wait. He was tempted to go back and give her a piece of his mind. No, he needed to get back to Araka. Daichi opened the door and walked in to find her asleep. Well it seemed she didn't get into much trouble while he was gone. Good.
The vampire placed the cake on her desk and sat back down, watching her as she slept. His thirst was awakened and he licked his fangs. The situation seemed to much like his usual hunts. He often fed on sleeping victims if he could manage and seeing her asleep made him think of drinking blood. He went for his bottle and drank it till it was empty, his thirst quietened. The smell of the cake seemed to overtake the smell of the blood. Maybe he should wake her? No. If she smelled the cake she would probably awaken. He layed back and closed his eyes noticing the burning sensation began to cease.

Dreams rarely came to Araka in her sleep, and when they did it was mostly about her plotting to deminish the human race for being ignorant, stuck up and being horribly emotional for the past few centiries. Even though she has not been alive all that time, she was quiet sure that the human deserved everything that was coming for them; they needed to know what it felt like to be a monster, having to hide in fear or thrive in darknes.
Her nose twitched as the smell of cake reached her senses. Strching her arms, she woke up with an "I'm tired so don't bother me" look. She looked for the cake and found it on her desk. She stood up and took the cake, sitting back down on her bed.
She looked up to see Daichi sitting on her desk chair. He looked like his hangover was, well, over. And it also looked like she got drunk again. Goodie, she wondered what happened. Muttering a spell softly to herself so that he wouldn't hear. Instantly, she remembered what happened while she was drunk.
Taking a bite of cake, she shook her head slightly. Damn she always acted so stupid when she got drunk, but it was fun[/I. But she guessed she slept all the scotch and vodka off. Damn her fast system.
Finishing up her cake she wondered if she looked wasted still, because she didn't feel it.
"Yo, Daichi," she said, hoping he was awake. "Thanks for watching me. I owe you one," she said, though her words sounded a bit forceful. Haru would probably kill her if she didn't owe Daichi one; he wasn't one of his responsibilities of being a trustie to watch her while she was drunk. Nope, that was Haru's job.
