School was dismissed and the teachers were free to do as they pleased. Hidden among the garden, Toshiro sat upon a boulder. Red eyes scanned the book in his hands. What confused people was the fact that there was nothing written on the pages. But still, he appeared as if he was reading something. Perhaps it was a trick of sorts. No one had a clue nor has anyone had the guts to ask. Whatever it was, he was reading it now.
He honestly expected no company. Most students would be escaping the school if they could while the teachers would be escaping for the rest of the day. So he had planned on a nice evening alone to enjoy for himself. And if anyone should so, they would probably avoid him anyway. Toshiro wasn't known to be one of the most friendly guys you could have a conversation with.
He kept his eyes on the book but payed attention to his surroundings very well. If anyone should appear, he would know as soon as they were near. He would stay out here for a while till nightfall then the real fun would begin. It had been a while since he roamed in his true form. Perhaps he could terrorize some humans. How he loved to watch them scream. They were quite an amusing species. Well, besides one of them.. His eyes narrowed at the thought of Ryouta. He never quite understood that boy. He was too strange for the demon to handle.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of someone approaching. His eye lifted from the pages as he looked to see who the intruder was.

Ryouta hadn't had much to do today. He'd lost his cell phone, he'd ran out of spending money and he had already finished all of his homework. What else was there to do? Actually, he planned to spend the rest of the day in front of a tv, but over heard some people saying something about a lost pet in the garden and that no one could find it.
Deciding he had nothing better to do for the night, he went to the garden to look, even for just a bit. But one thing that was on his mind was what type of animal the pet was. If it was a dog, he was royally screwed.
Not wanting to scratch his skin by roaming in the garden, he stuck to the walks, trying to be as careful as possible. He prided himself in his soft and flawless skin and didn't want it scratched up. Then again, if he didn't want to be scratched, he should have wore pants instead of a skirt. Oh well.
As he searched, he heard the sound of paper flipping. As he neared the sound he noticed it was Toshiro, his brother.
A big smile found its way to Ryouta's lips and he merrily skipped tohis brother, calling his name. And then, closer to his brother, he noticed the book.
"I guess its true. You read blank books," he said, standing on his toesto get a better look of the book. "Hey, is it like, you can only read it cause your a demon, or what?" he asked with ease, asif having a demon brother was perfectly normal.

His eyes narrowed at the sight of who it was. Ryouta. He watched him skip towards him and listened as he called his name. He thought about runnng for it but he knew he would only follow. Why the boy liked him so much was beyond his understanding. You'd think after all the things he'd said that he would hate him, but he loved him still and told him he was just hiding his true feelings. He sighed and shook his head at the thought.
As the boy neared, he simply went back to reading his book. That is, till he decided he wanted to talk. He knew what people thought about him reading a blank book. They thought he was insane. He didn't really care. Toshiro watched as his brother stood on his toes to look at the book. He cocked a brow in questioning and simply stared.
He found it somewhat amusing that the boy talked about him being a demon like it was nothing out of the ordinary. That and the fact he always asked about things he could do. He could recall when they were younger, Ryouta wanted to know what he really looked like. His mother forced him not to show though and Ryouta was dissapointed. So was Toshiro. Maybe if he showed him, he would have left him alone.
"No. I just like staring at blank pages all day," he answered sarcastically before closing the book and latching it shut. "What the hell are you doing out here anyway?" It wasn't like Ryouta to be out in a place like this. He would be too worried about his clothes getting caught on something. Speaking of clothes, he noticed what he was wearing. Humans confused him but this was the worst. Why he wore womens clothing, he'd never know.

Ryouta laughed a bit when his brother commented on the book, just saying he enjoyed staring at blank pages. His brother was so...stiff. He needed to laugh a bit and feel a bit more than the demon he was. Maybe that's why he was a teacher here...? Because it'd be...or maybe...no... Well, Ryouta didn't really know, but there was some reason his brother took a job as being a teacher, he just can't pinpoint it.
Then Toshiro asked what he was doing out here, but it didn't sound like a question. It sounded more like an angry, stiff comment. Turning a bit shy, he stared down at his feet before awnsering. "Some one lost their pet...I'm just here to help out," he said, thinking he should have lied. Toshiro might not like the pet idea. Then it struck Ryouta that the pet might damage his clothes! Maybe he should go back. No, who ever lost their pet might be horribly worried! He should help! But his clothes...
"Hey, Toshiro," he said with a smile, looking up at his brother's red eyes. "Do you think you could help me out?" he asked, hoping he would, though he guessed that his brother would deny the option of saving someone's pet. Toshiro wasn't as kind of a person (or...demon) as Ryouta was, but that didn't mean Ryouta couldn't try to get his brother to get away from that horrible reputation.
"Please?" he asked, pouting slightly, trying to look cute. Again, the whole "cute factor" didn't work on his brother, but he hoped it would. Either that or creep his brother into helping him.

He waited for the answer, wondering what had gotten him out. And here of all places. Sure this place was a garden and Ryouta was certainly the type to go nuts over the bright colors but the fact was, this place was dangerous the further you got in. Almost becoming the school's own jungle.
Finally, his answer came and Toshiro wasn't surprised. His brother seemed to be the goody two-shoes type of guy. While Toshiro was the one who didn't give a damn. They were basically polar opposites.
Picturing Ryouta searching for a pet almost made him want to let him go on with it. Maybe he'd get lost out there. Finding a pet was going on a wild goose chase. It is rare for someone to actually find a missing pet. Lose one in this sort of place would make it near impossible with all the monsters roaming about. His guess: it's dead.
His thoughts were interrupted by Ryouta. He shot his attention back to him wondering what he had in mind now. Whatever it was, he was certain it would be nothing he would want. And sure enough, it was. What made Ryouta think he would possibly want to go find someones pet? Toshiro had no clue.
The demon put away his book in a bag nearby and answered the boy with a simple, "No." He was about to turn back to face the boy when he sensed something. Some change in Ryouta. He was a bit worried to look back. He knew what was coming. Toshiro risked it and faced Ryouta. Pouting.
Toshiro's eyes narrowed and he scowled in distaste. To think, this guy was supposed to be his brother. Nice image wouldn't you say? He could hear his mother scolding him for such behaviour to family. They weren't even realated! "Stop that!" he growled. He hated it when he pouted. It made him feel... human.
