Lucia held the paint brush in her right hand. Blue paint dyed the blond hairs of the brush. She stroked the blank canvas with long strips going upward. Cleaning the brush he changed to grey, quickly before the blue pain dried, she swirled the colours so it was a swirl of blue and grey. Confusion. Changing to a smaller brush she added wisps of black and red. Her right eye focused sharply on the canvas, not even paying attention to the colour palette.
She had been in the high school for two years now, studying art and science. Yet she was bored. Her two favourite subjects and she wanted something more. I want to go see the world. Lucia thought her paint brush falling from the canvas. There were many things that she wanted to do and all of them where to get out of this stupid town.
Paint covered her fingers and smock, her blue eye shifted to help with placing down the palette. Dusting her hands off she quickly signed it with a black ink pen. This was going to be destroyed soon, Lucia sighed.
"Ches should like to burn this." She muttered in her usual monotone voice.

Haru was seated in the very back of the room, since she was usually the last to leave. It was definitely better than being trample while still cleaning up. So far, she had managed to get green paint in her orchid colored hair, as well as on the side of her face. It didn't matter much to her though as she continued working on the canvas in front of her. She was working on a family tree portrait to give to her mother as a birthday gift. Each of the people on the tree had been drawn chibi style and inked in. She was just finishing up the tree, then she could move onto coloring in the people.
Taking a break, she got up and walked over to Lucia. She stood behind the older girl, admiring the picture as she wiped her hands off on her smock. "So, painting something else for Cheshire to burn?," she chuckled. He was practically a pyromaniac with the amount of things he set on fire. Could he be classified as such even with the ability to manipulate fire? Shrugging, she leaned on Lucia with her chin on her shoulder. "How are you feeling today?"

Lucia shivered and looked at Hikaru. Her version of being surpised. Her eyes glanced back at her painting and nodded. "He apprecites art, yet he likes fire better." Her lips barely moved, but the sound was loudd enough in the empty room that she was sure that the purple haired girl could hear her.
"Aren't you a vamprie who feeds off emotions? If so, can't you tell what I'm feeling?" She questioned Hikaru, giving two questiosn in replace of her answer, why should she have to tell what she was feeling. It was the same as every other day, blank. She only had emotions when she was compeltely alone and no one had the chance to see her, not even ghosts.

Hikaru just smiled and shook her head. It was hardly obvious that Lucia like Cheshire, more like something of a friendship. But she wasn't the strongest empath in the world, so there was only a fraction of the smallest once that she could detect. It was kind of unnerving, especially since Lucia never shared any of her emotions. Ever.
Standing straight, Haru came around to her side and swiped a stool from another easel, and sat down next to her. "I'm only attracted by the energy coming from the strongest emotions, so I tend to not pay attention to the small bits around me. No offense." She knew Lucia would understand. That was just the kind of person Haru was; attending to school while keeping an eye out for her next meal. A girl's gotta survive somehow.
"You wanna hang out today? I'm good for a few days, so I don't exactly need to seek out Ara. As much as her attitude sucks, if I didn't have her, I'd be screwed." That much was definitely true. Ara was the only person in the school that gave off enough emotional energy to keep Haru sated for a week or more. It kept the beast at bay, and she never wanted her hunger to become so strong that she be reduced to sucking the emotion straight from a person's veins.

Lucia shrugged. I know I don't give alot of energy off. If I did you'd probably hanging out with me as much as you do that she-bitch." She explained remembering her encounters with the girl had been painful in an irrated way.
"I'm hanging with my brother after school, you're free to come with us," She said placing the coloured canvas on a drying rack before coming back with a fresh one and palcing it on the easal. She picked up her brush and started stroking a pale peach colour into the shape of a face. "Are you sure you want to hang out with me? Won't Araka become a total she-bitch if she figures out?" Lucia asked, switching to a darker colour and adding texture and depth to the face. \

Hikaru's eyes lit up when Lucia mentioned her brother. "Oooo, you have a brother? Is he cute? What's his name? Does that make him a necromancer too?" She was definitely being a nosey one today. It had been a long time since she had a boyfriend; since middle school before Kaijuu. She's always had Araka, and even though she made other friends, Ara was her constant. There was no need for anyone else.
Thinking about the question, Haru wanted to giggle. "Araka is my best friend, but I don't need to be with her 24/7. She's never taken my feeling into consideration, especially when ditching me to fuck guys in her cult, so why should I offer that courtesy?" It was true, and Hikaru was very jealous that Araka could never turn to her that way. Of course, her pride would never allow her to admit that.
She stared off at a random point in the classroom, not really wanting to look at Lucia. "I'd rather hang out with you today. We never get to because of Ara. Besides, I wanna meet your brother." Haru looked back down at her again, a wide grin on her face. She felt uncomfortable looking at anyone when talking about Araka. Sooner or later, someone would figure out the secret she held deep in her mind.
